The Oak Village Women's Club was founded in 1984 with the purpose of providing a place where new residents to the community could come to meet and make new friends. To this day, that is still the focus. The Oak Village Women's Club is primarily a social club for women residing in the Oak Village section of Sugarmill Woods.

Members meet for lunch and entertainment on the second Monday of each month from September through May. The cost to join is $20.00 per year, which covers expenses and entertainment for the group.

Guests are welcome to attend a luncheon before deciding to join.  The cost for non-members to attend a luncheon is $20.00; members currently pay $17.50 for each luncheon they choose to attend.  A check in the correct amount payable to OVWC, along with your meal choice (written in the memo section at the bottom line of your check) must be dropped in either of the two OVWC drop boxes by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the luncheon date.  One drop box is located at the Oak Village Bath & Tennis bulletin board (North Oak Village) and the other is on Oak Village Boulevard South at the security patrol parking lot.

The Oak Village Women's Club offers Group Outings, Informative Speakers, Monthly Luncheons, Fund Raisers for Charity, Bingo, Book Club, Fashion Shows, etc. The Club provides a great opportunity to meet more women who are residents of Sugarmill Woods.
